OUR STORY
Brendan grew up in Te Anau and is passionate about both the area and its people. He is an experienced physiotherapist having gained his qualification through Otago University in 2005. After spending his intial post graduate years working in Christchurch and then abroad he returned to Te Anau with the aim of setting up his own business which he achieved in 2015.
His personalised approach, combined with his knowledge and dedication, has helped countless clients recover from injuries, improve their mobility, and reduce their pain. Brendan’s goal is to help his clients lead active and healthy lives. This is achieved by providing individualised treatment plans that meet each client’s unique needs.

Brendan Meffan
I grew up in Te Anau and have a passion for both the area and its people.
After graduating from Otago University in 2005 I spent a valuable 5 years working in Christchurch in a large private practice as well as looking after various representative sports teams.
This was followed by 2 years spent in the UK between London and Edinburgh as well as an enjoyable stint touring England as team Physio for the Pakistan Cricket Team.
I returned to New Zealand in 2013 to settle down and start a family and opened my business in 2015.

Becky Kinnear
Meet Becky, a UK trained physiotherapist who completed a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Worcester.
Having lived in Te Anau for 4 years I have a love for the outdoors including hiking, pack rafting and skiing especially.
I enjoy connecting with patients and doing what I can to help them return to the activities they are passionate about.
Lisa Boden
Meet Lisa, a physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience in both the UK and New Zealand. With a background in both the British hospital system and private practice, she’s refined her skills and expertise, making her a trusted professional in her field.
Her career began at Sheffield Hallam University, where she studied physiotherapy before furthering her expertise with postgraduate studies in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at Cardiff University.
Lisa’s physio interests encompass a wide spectrum, including sports injuries and return-to-play strategies, chronic pain management, lymphoedema and oncology care, as well as concussion assessment and treatment. Her diverse expertise reflects her commitment to holistic patient care and her dedication to addressing both physical and mental aspects of well-being
Beyond the clinic, Lisa finds solace in the mountains. Whether she’s biking, climbing, running, or skiing.
